Biography
Yulia Panina is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner at kalon Dermatology. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Hunter College and has practiced in the New York medical community since 2004.
Her dermatology training focused on chronic skin conditions, and she treats acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation, approaching chronic cases with the long view in mind. Her aesthetic background includes more than two years in plastic surgery settings, where she worked hands-on with laser, radiofrequency, and ultrasound-based skin treatments. That experience with energy-based devices gives her a practical foundation for cosmetic consultations that many nurse practitioners do not have. As she puts it, a patient with rosacea needs an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment, and the same patient may also benefit from cosmetic treatments that reduce redness and improve skin texture over time.
