Biography
Rita Tsipen is a physician assistant at kalon Dermatology with licensure in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. She completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Long Island University and holds board certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Rita grew up in Brooklyn, which gives her a natural connection to the communities kalon serves across its Brooklyn and Staten Island locations. She knows the neighborhood, she knows her patients’ lives, and she brings that familiarity to every visit.
Her practice covers medical and cosmetic dermatology. On the medical side, she evaluates and treats conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin infections, and moles. She performs skin cancer screenings and works with patients managing chronic skin conditions that require ongoing attention. On the cosmetic side, she provides Botox, fillers, and other aesthetic treatments with an approach built around honest consultations and realistic outcomes.
Rita is fluent in both English and Russian, which allows her to communicate directly and comfortably with many of kalon’s Russian-speaking patients, a meaningful part of the communities the practice serves in Brooklyn and Staten Island.
