Biography
Jane Levitt has more than 10 years of experience in adult and pediatric dermatology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program, a competitive combined program that provided her with intensive clinical training alongside rigorous academic preparation. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Over a decade in dermatology has given Jane a breadth of clinical experience that covers conditions across every age group. She treats teenagers struggling with acne, adults managing chronic conditions like rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis, and older patients requiring regular monitoring for skin cancer. She also handles common but frustrating concerns like warts, hair loss, and nail disorders.
Jane approaches each patient with the same level of care regardless of the reason for the visit. She explains diagnoses in plain language, outlines the available treatment options, and involves patients in the decision about how to proceed. Her decade-plus of experience means she’s seen a wide range of presentations, and she draws on that experience to offer practical, evidence-grounded recommendations rather than cookie-cutter protocols.
Pediatric patients are a particular part of her practice. She’s skilled at putting younger patients at ease during exams and at communicating clearly with parents about diagnoses, treatment timelines, and what to watch for at home.
