Understanding TED Hair Treatment
Q:
how long does ted hair treatment last?
A:
The actual TED hair treatment takes about one hour in order to cover all the required areas on the scalp and promote hair growth. Hair growth following TED results will start showing usually between two to four weeks after the treatment.
Q:
what is the difference between prp and ted?
A:
PRP procedures require a blood sample from the patient that is processed, and plasma is extracted from the sample. The plasma is then injected back into the patient’s scalp with a syringe and needle. That process is not required for the TED hair treatment, where the device can create little channels to deliver a proprietary liquid. PRP is usually painful, whereas TED is not. The PRP requires blood and plasma, and the consistency can change, whereas the proprietary liquid used in TED treatment is constant. Hence, the efficacy of TED treatment is slightly higher.
