Earlobe surgery or earlobe repair, is generally a minor reconstructive procedure to restore the appearance of a patient’s earlobe(s)to their natural look and feel. The earlobe is an extremely sensitive area of skin, and is highly susceptible to damage. Oftentimes, as a result of an accident or some form of trauma, the earlobe gets stretched or torn. Sometimes because of a poorly placed piercing or the use of “gauges° the skin tears and needs to be reattached.
In other instances, we perform both punch and excision procedures to both shape and contour the earlobe to a more natural look. We will examine your earlobe during the initial consult and determine a specific course of treatment, tailor-made for your corrective needs.
